Cognitive Behaviour Therapy 

Explores the relationship between our thoughts, feelings and behaviour. Supports us to understand what experiences may trigger unhelpful thinking patterns that led to big emotions. Focuses on developing helpful thinking patterns and challenges to vicious behaviour cycles

EMDR 

An approach that supports individuals to heal from traumatic experiences and reduce distress associated with these experiences. Using eye movement it facilitates a space for mental health recovery, with less focus on talking through events in detail.

Mindfulness Techniques

A useful strategy to quiet the mind, and practice being present in the moment. Can be used to reduce rumination and obsessive thinking. Research has found its effectiveness in promoting positive mental well-being.

Assessment and Intervention for Psychological Wellbeing 

Our approach begins with a comprehensive psychological assessment to gain a clear understanding of your thoughts, emotions, and lived experiences. This process helps identify the root causes of distress and informs a tailored treatment plan aligned with your goals.

We draw on evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and integrative approaches. All interventions are customised to suit your unique needs.

CBT sessions typically last 50 minutes, while EMDR sessions may be longer depending on individual requirements.

Therapy is structured as a short- to medium-term process, designed to equip you with practical tools for long-term wellbeing. The focus is on building self-sufficiency and reducing reliance on therapy, while knowing support remains available if needed.

The ultimate aim is sustained symptom relief, improved day-to-day functioning, and lasting emotional resilience.
